NATIONAL BIOMETRIC IDENTITY CARD (C.N.I.B)

The national biometric and electronic identity card valid for ten (10) years. It is free of charge and it can be requested online by all citizens who already have a biometric passport, at the following link:

Formalities required for the issuance of the national biometric Identity card, with ten-year period of validity:

• Biometric passport
• The information to be printed on the national biometric identity card is that mentioned on the biometric passport
• Documents that certify your current address of residency and a mobile telephone number.
• If you reside in Greece or Albania your card is to be sent at the Embassy
